“How the objective input of a coach can clarify goal setting, and help you achieve those goals when trying to start or grow a business”.
Business Startup HelpDocument
Do you feel stuck? Are you in a rut? Do you know what you want to do? Do you know what you would like to accomplish, but don’t know how to do it? Even if you know what you should do, perhaps you lack the motivation to do it because it seems like so much work, and pain, not fun or joy.
Once you reach an impasse, even if you hit a certain level of success and seem stuck there, a coach can get you focused on how to manage your time, set an objective, and get to your objective.
Your advisor can help you clarify goals and the paths that can lead to achieving them. Coaches can also offer the dispassionate perspectives gained from working with other clients. Has your coach worked with people who have been through similar situations? Do they know the basics of business and the fundamentals for success so they can help you succeed with your business startup or growth?
Consider that it can be refreshing to be held accountable to an outside party and get some different viewpoints from someone that does not have an ax to grind.
It is not uncommon for the “best” to work with a coach. Even the best professional athletes in the world have coaches. Are you missing the boat?
What is the coaching process and how can it help you with your startup business or business growth?
When I coach a client, I ask them how I can help them. I ask open ended questions to help them think and deal with what they know. I also offer advice that they do not know, and wisdom and good ideas that they can use.
Being in business can be rewarding and fulfilling. It can be a reflection of life with good points and bad, strengths and weaknesses. On good days, it is heaven. On not so good days, you feel like bailing out. That’s ok, it’s normal. I have been there and done it and it just made me figure out how to make things good again.
